Abkhazia is claimed and controlled by the Republic partially
recognized Abkhazia, who considers himself an independent Abkhaz state. Georgia
considers Abkhazia to be part of Georgia, legally regulated by the Government
of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.

The flag of the Republic of Abkhazia was created in 1991 by
